The Apple Card has dropped to third place in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Credit Card Satisfaction Study, marking the first time in four years it has failed to secure the top spot. The card, which is currently issued by Goldman Sachs, scored 624 points among co-branded credit cards with no annual fee. It was surpassed by the Hilton Honors American Express (641 points) and the Costco Anywhere Visa by Citi (629 points).
This drop reflects recent challenges for the card, including a 30-point decline in its satisfaction score from the previous year’s survey. The overall study, which measures satisfaction across seven factors including account management and benefits, showed a small one-point increase in satisfaction across the industry.
